Vortyx Account and Data Deletion

Vortyx is provided by SYNVE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED.

You can request deletion of your Vortyx account and associated data from inside the Vortyx app or by contacting us.

In-app deletion

You can request deletion of your Vortyx account from inside the Vortyx app.

  1. Open the Vortyx app.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Open Privacy & Data.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm.
  6. Confirm account deletion.

What happens after confirmation

When account deletion is confirmed, Vortyx disables account access, disconnects integrations where supported, stops background processing, and starts deletion of eligible account data.

Out-of-app deletion request

If you cannot access the app, email us at contact@synve.ai from the email address associated with your Vortyx account and request account deletion.

Data deleted or disconnected

Account deletion may include deletion or anonymization of:

  • Vortyx account profile data
  • User settings and preferences
  • Personal workspace data where applicable
  • Tasks, follow-ups, reminders, review items, loops, and generated workspace content associated with the account
  • Notification endpoints
  • Connected integration credentials and OAuth tokens where technically supported
  • Future background sync and processing for connected providers

Provider connection deletion

When a connected provider such as Gmail, Outlook, Slack, or a calendar service is disconnected or deleted, Vortyx stops future synchronization for that provider and deletes or revokes locally stored OAuth credentials where technically supported.

Previously generated user-visible items, such as tasks, reminders, review items, summaries, or loops, may remain until deleted by the user, workspace owner, or as part of an account or workspace deletion request.

Shared workspace data

If your account belongs to a shared workspace, some workspace content may remain visible to other authorized workspace members where deletion would affect shared records.

If you own a shared workspace, additional verification or workspace ownership handling may be required before shared workspace data is deleted.

Data that may be retained

Some information may be retained where required for:

  • Security
  • Abuse prevention
  • Fraud prevention
  • Billing and subscription records
  • Tax and accounting requirements
  • Legal compliance
  • Dispute resolution
  • Audit integrity
  • Backup recovery
  • System integrity

Retention periods

Eligible account data is deleted or anonymized from active systems within 30 days after verification.

Connected-provider OAuth tokens and credentials are deleted or revoked within 24 hours after account deletion or integration disconnect, where technically supported.

Background sync and processing are stopped immediately after account deletion is confirmed.

Notification endpoints are deleted or disabled within 30 days.

Backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before expiring through normal backup rotation. If data is restored from backup, deletion requests are reapplied where applicable.

Diagnostic and security logs may be retained for up to 90 days unless needed for security investigation, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

Billing, subscription, tax, and accounting records may be retained for up to 8 years, or longer if required by law.

Minimal deletion request and audit records may be retained for up to 3 years to document request handling, fraud prevention, and compliance.
