Insights

Insights help you understand patterns in your unresolved work.

Instead of showing one action at a time, Insights summarize continuity signals across your workspace: waiting work, stalled work, overdue or no-date actions, recurring drift, timing gaps, and broader operational patterns.

Insights are available based on your plan.

Use Insights when you want to answer questions such as:

• What work is waiting too long?
• Which recurring responsibilities are slipping?
• Are there overdue or no-date actions accumulating?
• Are follow-ups drifting?
• Where is unresolved work creating operational load?
• What patterns are visible across recent work?

Insights are not a guarantee that every issue has been detected. They summarize the signals Vortyx has available in the selected workspace and time window.

Insights can be viewed over different time windows, such as:

• Week
• Month
• Quarter
• Year
• Custom range

Use a shorter window for recent operating rhythm. Use a longer window to understand patterns over time.

Use Generate insights when insights are not ready for a selected window.

Use Regenerate insights when you want to refresh the summary with the latest available data.

Generation may depend on usage limits and plan access.

The operational summary gives a narrative view of continuity signals in the selected window.

Insights are most useful for concrete operational signals first: waiting work, stalled work, recurring drift, overdue actions, no-date actions, and timing gaps.

When available, Vortyx may also surface broader categories such as:

• stalled work
• waiting or follow-up drift
• recurring responsibility drift
• operational timing gaps
• continuity patterns
• focus and attention signals
• cognitive load indicators
• intent-action gaps
• temporal patterns

Use these summaries as review prompts, not as final truth. If an insight points to an issue, open the relevant actions, plans, recurring commitments, or entries to verify and act.

• Generate insights after you have enough tracked work for the window.
• Use Insights to find patterns, not just individual overdue items.
• Check Actions for the underlying work.
• Check Recurring Commitments for recurring drift.
• Use longer windows for trends and shorter windows for current attention.
